I'm a writer. Plain and simple.

The fine print: I’m a writer, teacher, editor, and musician. I’ve received fellowships from the Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center, the Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing, the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation, and Tent: Encounters with Jewish Culture.

I’ve taught creative writing and composition at Fordham University, University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Houston, Brooklyn Poets, and elsewhere, and I was the Residential Program Director of The Young Writers Workshop at the University of Virginia from 2012-2017.

I also have agency work experience in the advertising, entertainment, television, telecom, retail, and health care industries.

Originally from Charlottesville, Virginia, I now live in Brooklyn. Brooklyn, New York.

For inquiries related to any of the above, please reach out. I also do Bar Mitzvahs. But, like, for real though. I lead a mean Musaf.
